The scalpels are out for Santorum!

H2S04 = Vitriol

It did not take long, in fact, to some degree, the filth, underhand mass of lies and distortions was already in the public domain. It just took Santorum's close outright victory in Iowa to open up the cess pit.

On the one hand you have the secular journalists who damn with faint praise and speak about his "religiosity" as if were something akin to the Ebola virus; on the other, the abortion lovers, baby killers, rabid homosexuals and lesbians who spew hatred that, if it were directed against them, would result in the originator being jailed and reviled.

This man is fighting against the odds. He is not well heeled, his Catholic views have apparently upset 50% of his Republican 'friends' and he is up against strong competition.

He needs our prayers.
Just as I recall praying at morning school assembly so many years ago for JFK (the nuns just wanted a Catholic to be President no matter what) so we need to pray for Rick Santorum today and every day until an outcome becomes clear.

The odds have never bothered God so why should they bother us.

Anthony Radice of A Tiny Son of Mary blog has proposed a Rosary Crusade  - A great thought.

Please visit Anthony's blog and sign up for the Crusade - we are the Church Militant after all!

And please......give Anthony's Rosary appeal a bit of a push on your blog.

  1. "The scalpels are out...." Sounds like the Welsh Assembly Government and presumed consent for organ "donation"!

  2. Patricius - very true. Have you seen that Archbishop Stack of Cardiff has spoken out against presumed consent?

  6. I'll blog about this in the next couple of days and link to Anthony's post, too.

    I have a very good feeling about Santorum. Let's hope that all Catholics and all men and women of good will and a Christian faith rally round him.

  7. He looks just like the rest of establishment shills sending us over the cliff.

    So I don't think you have too much to worry about. The race is fixed so one establishment guy or the other always wins.

  8. Thanks for the plug Richard! But your link takes people to my post about the Oxford Oratory rather than the one about Rick Santorum, which is here:

    The man whose views most closely align with the teaching of the Church is Ron Paul.

    If I was American Santorum would get my vote.
