Gay Mass centre for Wales?

The small village of Llanddewi Brefi is rumoured to become the first centre for Gay Masses in Wales although, due to a dispute over boundaries there is some confusion as to which Diocese the village belongs.

The community organising these Masses is a section from the so called "Soho Mass Group" but, being based in Wales they will be called the "Boyo Mass Group"

An altar server training session has been established in the local pub and the clip below shows two of the servers at one of their meetings (not arranged by the Latin Mass Society I hasten to add).

  1. May God have mercy on these people. When I think of Sodomy, I'm reminded of Sodom and Gomorrah. Don't we deserve fire from Heaven on this world because of these sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance? For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world...

(By the way, I love this blog! I'm a young person and I come here every day.)

  5. I believed you for a moment! Myin-laws live in llangubi (I think that's how it's spelt) not far from there. I was incredulous that there might be another Catholic Church, we always have to go to Lampeter (which is lovely). Far more likely to be the only Catholic or in my FIL's case, Ordinariate member of the village!

  6. Caroline, it can only be a question of time. God bless. BTW, there is often an EF Mass at Morriston near Swansea see http://meneviastabatmater.blogspot.com for details.

  7. No Roman Catholic church in or near Llanddewi Brefi - Lampeter is the nearest.
