Getting arrested saved my life, too. I had several friends in prison who said that they were so emaciated from heroin or "speed balls" that they would have died if they hadn't been locked up. Sadly, one friend, "Coach", died of a overdose while at a minimum security work camp.
Mary, thanks for your writings. I remember when you wrote that you would die for the EF rite. Many of us share your sentiment.
