More than ever I feel the need of having Thee close to me. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong. Corinthians 12:7-10

The deeper point about all this is that whatever you put out there on the internet stays out there forever, but, d'you know, that's what happens in reality anyway - your deeds stand forever on the face of the cosmos. The effect of those deeds you regret can still be influenced by the Sacrament of Confession, praise be to God, but, once the deed is done, it's done, and the internet astoundingly reflects that fact. The glorified Jesus still bears his wounds.
