More than ever I feel the need of having Thee close to me.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

The end of Summorum Pontificum?
Summorum Pontificum RIP?
The Eye Witness has the story.......please God it will not happen.
I posted that report at The Eye Witness from CNA because it showed, to me at least, that these anti-Ancient Rite characters are not going to rest until they can put some kind of lid on the rising interest in it.
Though I heartily agree with the commenters above that if they do seriously try to place SP down the Memory Hole they would have an awfully tough time doing it.
Still, I posted it so we can be on our guard (as I'm sure most of the readers of this blog a;ready are) and because the writer at CNA made some telling points.
Summorum Pontificum will not come to an end. It will survive because of the many reasons behind it. Like it has become the culture and tradition. South Africa News Online

ReplyDeleteNo......it wont happen.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that it will happen. The end of "Summorum Pontificum" would mean schisma, and Pope Francis should know this!

I think you are mistaken, the Summorum Pontificum will survive.
ReplyDeleteBrian and others, I very much hope that you are right. Aged P's comment encompasses exactly my feelings.
ReplyDelete'Rumours of my death are greatly exaggerated'.

it is those who seek to pervert the Worship of God who will come to an end.
