Bishop Mark Davies is a really good egg -- we met him at the NACF Walsingham Pilgrimage last May. He gave a great talk about St Thomas More, braved the long weekend's wind, rain and mud and was very encouraging to the Catholic families who were there. I was delighted to learn shortly afterwards that he was the Bishop who had invited the ICKSP to set up the first traditional parish in the UK at the church of SS Peter and Paul, New Brighton, Wirral.
ReplyDeleteHopefully he's part of a brighter future for the Catholic Church in England and Wales. He's on our family prayer list!
