....and no Muslim, Sikh, Jew or Buddhist either.
I am reminded of the words of Archbishop Fulton Sheen: "No other leader of a world religion has laid down his life for his people.....and then returned from the dead..."

Thank you for this video Richard. I'd never seen it before. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteContinuing to pray for your grandson, and your whole family.
Thanks too for earlier message re my historical series. I'm encouraged by your appreciation. We all need to do more of that.
God bless,

Absolutely beautiful! I needed this today. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeletePowerful stuff! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteDont know where you found it Richard but its fantastic. We are so lucky to be part of this wonderful organization that is the one true Church.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad how one church can believe that only they hold the truth and not recognise that there are Christians in many denominations who worship the Lord. This Protestant watched it and grieved for the lack of understanding and pathetic triumphalism that is so far from the real faith. But God bless you anyway, and may you come to a wiser understanding of the fellowship of all Christians, Roman Catholic and protestant alike.
ReplyDeleteFr Barry Tomlinson – thank you for your comment and your blessing.
ReplyDeleteThe issue really is that the Protestant church has no doctrine other than that adapted from the Catholic Faith.
But, sadly, it has distorted and bent even that diluted doctrine so that there is no right and no wrong – certainly, it has ignored or misinterpreted the teachings of Jesus Christ.
You cannot have ten people telling you that they are all right.
One can be right or all can be wrong.
That is the option.
We are “triumphalist” only in the sense of giving glory to God; in our liturgy, our devotions and in our character.
May God bless you and bring you into the one true fold
