This petition could work......

...if you would only sign it.

No, you don't need to sign it Your Holiness

It is the petition for the Holy Father to celebrate a Tridentine Latin Mass.

It may not be as forlorn a hope as you might think, The Eponymous Flower has an optimistic post on the possibility (if you can overlook the use of the word "upcoming") and the petition has round about 700 signatories as we speak.

Apparently, you need at least 12,000 before Rome  will think about it.

That is achievable...but only if you blah blah...sign.

You may do it here: PETITION

Please do it before you leave this page. That's a plea, not an order.

We did a quick translation from katholisches.

Holy Father may say the concluding Mass in St. Peter's.

  6. Done!

I can't find my copy of Jean Anouilh's BECKET, but in it there is a line to the effect of "The Pope is a most holy person, but he is surrounded by men of a somewhat inferior stamp." Perhaps this will get through.
