THIS IS MY DAUGHTER CATHERINE

She is a very happy girl by nature

She is a Senior Staff Nurse and has signed up to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day caring for the homeless and derelict. She will minister to drug addicts, alcoholics, mentally disturbed folk and other members of our society who have fallen on hard times and who are all too often undervalued by us but are much valued by Christ.

Catherine will be working for the charity Crisis at Christmas and will be part of a team of Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Sandwich Makers, Beauticians, Hairdressers, Carers and many more, all of whom have given up their Christmas so that the less fortunate have a chance of enjoying the Feast of the Birth of our Lord. God bless them all!

Now, I would not normally feature an appeal for funds (I  know that all of us are limping somewhat under the current economic cuts). I also know that all readers and bloggers will have their existing charities that they will have subscribed to.
BUT...if you have had a lottery win or your horse has come in or you got the new job you were after, perhaps you would consider dropping a few quid into her fighting fund to provide food, clothing, bedding and medical supplies for those who have no room at any inn. Click on her name for the link................ Catherine Collins
On her behalf I thank you.
