Well done to the SPUC group who turned out in force in Bath last week despite media hype that suggested that the opposition was going to be "active".
Here's their account:-
"Small group turned up who tried to oppose us. We thwarted them by turning up an hour earlier.
SPUC - Thirtyfive + seven children. Opposition - 12.
What a relief as it was imagined a 100 were coming to give us a drubbing after all the incitement in the local paper and radio publicity. Phew!
Grateful thanks to all who supported us with their prayers, time, and support and especially the priests of the Bath Deanery who were so encouraging in the face of the storm."
