A call for support - please help the Vaughan! Now!

Many have provided sympathy for the Vaughan School cause; that of endeavouring to keep one of Britain's top performing Catholic Schools with a great record of results, especially in the realms of ethnic groups and Special Educational Needs, free of impositions from the Diocese of Westminster. And if you think that Westminster is right, you have no idea about delivery of education and teaching management - sorry but that's a fact.
But, sympathy is not enough, it does not pay legal costs for a start and these are piling up for the Cardinal Vaughan Governing Body and the Parents (only last week 600 staff, pupils, old Vaughanians and supporters prayed for their cause outside the school in a candlit vigil).
We, can help, no matter where we are in the world; justice recognises no boundaries. You know what is coming, it's dipping hand in pocket time - and they need it. You see the elected Parent Governors (not the un-elected non-Parent ones appointed by Westminster) are personally liable for the costs incurred in raising an appeal. So far, that is looking like a cool £6,000 each that's about 9,600 US Dollars.

Do not be mislead; the school and its environs are not as well heeled as their critics say they are. The school is located in a reasonable, if modest part of west London. Not Hackney but neither is it Kensington Gardens. They have raised close on £8000 so far but those pockets are now exhausted. They desperately need another £22000 (35,500 US Dollars) if they are even going to have a chance at the Court of Appeal. The deadline is 18th February - again, 18th February, this year not next.
So please, please, click on this link (CVS) and contribute...if you do nothing else, please help.
And, the process is quite quick and painless, try it and see - Oh, and also remember them all in your prayers....and Archbishop Nichols also.
