More than ever I feel the need of having Thee close to me.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Holy Father pays his bill
One might think that Pope Francis would send an aide to pay his hotel bill.
But, no, he did it in person - my thanks to JJ and CM for the picture:
I am sorry to say this, but reading your comments makes me realize that there is a rather strong lunatic fringe talking. Have you ne respect for people who want to follow in Christ's footsteps. Is ther any mention in scripture of Jesus dressing up in fancy clothes and only speaking to people of his own kind? You are trying to undermine good work done with sincerety, shame on you! If you were nice you would not write such rubbish, you would know that it is shameful. Go to confession and make an act of contrition!
What a surreal picture. I'm not sure we'll see too many pictures like this in the future (but I might be wrong).
ReplyDeleteSaw a great meme where he's saying "oh... yes... I checked in under a different name". priceless.
ReplyDeleteSilliness.
ReplyDelete"No, I did not drink the 35US$ bottle of Tahitian All-Natural Organic Spring Water from the little refrigerator."
ReplyDeleteGod bless Papa Francis!
"You don't accept Visa / Barclay? How about my Master's card?"
