I always thought the Epiphany was January 6. My American Catholic calendar says it's January 8. You're saying it's today,, the 5th.

ReplyDeleteIn today's liturgical calendar it has been made a moveable feast (to the nearest Sunday) but most Catholics with a traditional leaning try to attend on the old obligatory day (and the Twelfth Night) of 6th Janaury.
Here, in Poland, it's today, the 6th, and a public holiday, and only Churches and petrol stations are open, and only proprietors are legally allowed to work. Splendid!
